Let me see if I got this right...

1. Log into forum as Admin (founder)
2. Upload the Install to the main folder for the forum
3. Go to www.site.com/forum/install/
4. once the install folder is finished then remove it.
I am always looking to participate in cool, active, online forums/communities..

if you are talking about installing automod then no that is not how to do it.

1.you unzip the automod folder on your computer.
2.you then upload all the included files and folders to your board root.

3.then you go to the install folder in your browser and do the install on that page.
4.then you delete the install folder and you are done
