Automod page is blank

Post by BobaPhil » Thu Sep 20, 2012 12:59 pm

Hiya everyone...OK, so I run a forum, I know the basics, but I'm not an advanced user.

Tapatalk needs an up date. So, I have to install Automod first. I've uploaded all the files and followed every instruction, but the install page is just blank!

Then I noticed that I needed to install the UMIN thing...again, I've tried, but it doesn't show anything.

I'm using FF, although, I've tried using IE, but still, nothing. I've checked all the files are there (I use FireFTP) and they are all there, I can get a direct link to the image), but none of them seem to work.

Any help, please?

Only if you want to add the auto detection, and then it's only a simple edit you can do manually anyway.
Most tapatalk updates only require you to upload a new mobiquo folder.

Open the cache folder on the server and delete everything except index.htm and .htaccess (if you can see it).
Also, make sure you're logged in first before you go to /install.

Sorry, but you might as well be talking in Spanish, lol.

The new Tapatalk doesn't have a mobiquo folder, you HAVE to do it through the Automod thing, which won't install. :|

I'm only going from the instructions HERE. The dl from there doesn't have the mobiquo folder in it that I can see. :(

Thanks though.

And just for my own peace of mind, the links I should be seeing the install is :

http://www.thestf.com/phpBB3/upload/install/

It's not just me that can't see anything, right?

So am I.
If you look in the /root folder of the download there is a mobiquo folder.

In fact the second part of the instructions on that page say
Unzip the package to your desktop and find the 'mobiquo' directory inside 'root/' path

You only need to do the autoMOD bit IF you want to install auto-detection. If you don't you can skip it.

No you should be uploading just the /install folder.
Not the /upload bit as well. You upload the contents of /upload

I still can't get it.

I've uploaded the files from Tapatalk to the mobiqup folder though and it still seems to work, so I'll leave it before I screw up my forum royal.

Thanks for the help though.

The download from tapatalk has a folder called root in it.
In that is another folder called mobiquo.
Upload that to your site and you should be done. Unless they've drastically changed how they've coded it.
