Yes, that is supposed to happen.

the ability to upload MODs from within the automod section of the admin panel is very recent. in the past, then only way was to upload via ftp. I believe it is still the best since many servers do not allow unzipping on the server and many that do seem to corrupt the files in the process.

do you mean you can NOT see the MOD after you upload it?

if that is the case. you have to unzip the MOD on your computer first.

then, you upload only the folder that actually contains the MOD files.

what MOD are you trying to install?

a link to where you got it please.

what happens when upload the MOD?

or better , what doesn't happen?

you have not told us what the problem is .

is the MOD not there in the uninstalled MOD list after you have unzipped it and uploaded the resultant folder?

I tried both methods. Using AutoMOD to upload the MOD and do a manual upload. Both worked as intended without any problems.

Using AutoMOD to upload MODs ensures that the file permissions are correct for PHP to write in that directory. assuming unzip works at your host.

What AutoMOD version are you using?

The automod version is 1.0.2
The upload zip file by automod works fine,i can see the folder unzipped but nothing in the list of available mod

in your store/mod folder can you see a folder named: paypal_donation_mod_1_0_3

and in that folder do you see folders named contrib and root and files named install.xml, license.txt and modx.prosilver.en.xsl

if not, then you are somehow not uploading correctly.
