Yeah I know, wasn't too sure on what color to make it so I left it the same as all the other rank images.

Got a good idea for a color?

What about orange or blue or something? Probably not blue, that isn't like a "you have been bad" color...

I'm still new to this sorta stuff, but I love the rank images, but once I download them, and get them uploaded to my site, how do I put them to use?

Will the site automatically assign people ranks based on their posts or how do I monitor them?

  1. How do you install rank packs ?
  2. To start with, you will create a folder where you will keep your rank packs. I thus advise you to create a folder named Ranks/ in the images/ folder that already exists in the directory of your phpBB forum.
  3. Your ranks will thus be found at this address : http://www.your_site.com/directory_of_the_forum/images/ranks/.
  4. Once you have your rank pack chosen, downloaded and decompressed, upload its contents in the folder images/ranks/ that you just created.
  5. Now go in the administration panel, and go to the heading of "User Administration." Click on Ranks then on Add New Rank. Give a name to your new rank. Indicate if it is a special rank (such as administrator or moderator), indicate if necessary the number of posts to reach this rank, then indicate the way this rank looks :
  6. Rank Image (Relative to phpBB2 root path): images/ranks/name_of_rank.gif.
  7. Repeat this operation until you have installed all the ranks.
