Changing the orange font to white

Post by Peter VanDerbeek » Mon Aug 23, 2004 3:02 am

Hi,

I searched with no success. My question is very simple:

How do I change the orange font that appears in the blue-background sections of all pages to another color? (this is referring to the standard phpbb style of course)

All I need. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Edit text color for class "th" in css.
And this document explains what to do so you could edit css: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=127

That takes away all the colors...

Post by Peter VanDerbeek » Mon Aug 23, 2004 8:59 am

I did what you said (including what that document told me to do). What the document tells me to do takes away every part of the page leaving the text and a completely white background. I just want to change the orange colored font to white. What do I need to do to just change that?

Thanks so much for your time.

in overall_header.tpl find this:

Code: Select all

th	{
	color: {T_FONTCOLOR3}; font-size: {T_FONTSIZE2}px; font-weight : bold;
	background-color: {T_BODY_LINK}; height: 25px;
	background-image: url(templates/subSilver/images/{T_TH_CLASS2});
}
and replace {T_FONTCOLOR3} with #FFF

No, I did what you said and it took away everything again (all the actual links remain but the subSilver look is gone).

Does anyone else know how to do this? I really could use some help from someone who knows how to change the orange font color to white on all forum pages (it shouldn't be that difficult, should it?). Thanks so much.

Sounds like you are using buggy editor. Edit that file with notepad.

Font Color in titles

Post by tristatesportbikes » Sun Oct 10, 2004 3:46 am

Is this the same as changing the font color 3 in the admin panel? I change font color 3 there and the admin color changes. I am using the classic theme and the font color for the titles are yellow, i would like to change them to 8b1c62

Classic style doesn't use colors from admin control panel, so if you change font color 3 it will change only admin color. To change other colors you should edit Classic.css
