I'd like to suggest one change to the CSS file.

The generic link style and all of its states (active, hover, visited, etc.) are explicitly set almost every time. This is good because Mozilla and IE behave differently sometimes when it's left to inheritance.

The base hyperlink style is set to:

Code: Select all

a:link,a:active,a:visited { color : #FFFFCC; text-decoration: none; }
a:hover		{ text-decoration: underline; color : #FFFFCC; }
This wouldn't look very good if used because it uses the same color as text and has no underline. Fortunately, every CSS style used in subBlack overrides this one. The problem is that some hyperlinks slip through the cracks. Two examples come to mind: 1) hyperlinks on the page that gets displayed when you log out. 2) URLs in the post body that are NOT wrapped with the BBCode URL tags.

The fix is simple. Just change the CSS style for generic hyperlinks to work like the CSS .postbody link style:

Code: Select all

a:link,a:active,a:visited { color : #FFCC00; text-decoration: none;}
a:hover		{ text-decoration: underline; color : #FFFFCC; }

tdw, this thread is for anything to do with subBlack. I think there is a link to a thread for other languages in the first post.

King Moonraiser, thanks i'll look into it (promise).

Mr. Spectre,

Would you be so kind to trasform this button into subBlack:

Dang, too bad development for this style has gone away. It's gotten far enough behind that it's become difficult to use: it doesn't support the captcha code.

I did a diff between subSilver and subBlack to see if they were common enough to make a few changes, but pretty much every single file is different. Anyway, does anyone have an updated version of this for 2.0.22?
