BlueGlass Style

Post by maddog5661 » Sat Jul 30, 2005 12:53 am

Does anyone have "BlueGlass" already created? I do not understand how to read the instructions I downloaded. If there is anyone that can explain to me exactly option by option how to create it...I would greatly appreciate it. :D

I dont understand the guide and how it is written. I was asking like if anyone that knows how to read it if they can list what you have to fill in to the blanks in the create form in the Admin. Panel

BlueGlass uses an external .css file, so the Create menu won't have any effect on it. If you need to edit the css, edit BlueGlass.css.

Do you need help installing the theme or do you want to know how you can edit/alter certain parts of the theme.

Cause in the last case you need to edit the css file as mentioned.
If you want to install it, you simply unzip the package then you will find a main folder called "Glass"(or something like that depending on the version you are using).
Then upload this folder so the folder structure of your forum looks like this:
phpbbroot/templates/Glass/

Yeah, as I suspected :?
You're using free forum hosting, so you don't have access to the files. Hence you can't install new styles or MODs.
Get normal hosting, install phpBB normally, then ypu can do whatever you want :)

Between nothing and a lot. Depends on the quality. The two are usually proportional, but not always. I suggest you check out http://www.webhostingtalk.com.
