CSS Problem

Post by DarthSpader » Fri Sep 08, 2006 11:08 am

Does anyone know where to correct this, or why it even appears?

There are times when a.links will show up as "blue text" and a.imgs will show up with a "blue border" around them. When they are visited, the blue then turns to "purple".

I believe these are Internet Explorer default colors as well?
Colors are #0000FF and #800080

I've checked all through the files and the css file and these colors aren't listed anywhere !

How do I get rid of this problem or change the colors?

Check to see if the link has a declared class or an ID.

To do this, go into the TPL file and look for the snippet of the code that is showing up as default color. It sounds confusing, but it's easy. Just let us know what links are showing up blue, link us to your forum, and I'll walk you through it from there.

you can set link color in CSS

for removing border form images you must add this part to your CSS file

Code: Select all

 img { border: 0; }
just it

for color of link you must add this part to your CSS file

Code: Select all

 a:link, a:visited {
color: (any color you like in hex format) ;
}

a:hover, a:active {
color: (any color you like in hex format) ;
}
