trouble changing background colors of posts

Post by Soliloquy » Wed Oct 25, 2006 4:34 am

I'm trying to change the colors of my template (using subSilver as the base) and have run into a problem. I've changed Table Row Color 1 and Table Row Color 2 to shades of purple, and it looks fine on the index pages, but when viewing topics the posts all have white backgrounds. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here, as I've changed the colors for many other boards in this way and it always worked. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michelle

It appears you are missing the css attributes from the file 'viewtopic_body.tpl'. The light background colour you have is applied using this class:
td.row1 { background-color: #CFB3D3; }

If you look through the file 'viewtopic_body.tpl' you will see that part is missing like so:
<td width="150" align="left" valign="top" class="">

it should be:
<td width="150" align="left" valign="top" class="row1">
