They appear to have customised these forums to suit their own needs. All you will be able to do is design your own style along the same lines as they have (You have previously been given a link to a styling tutorial). Considering they are using a different software package which is also in a different language, it is highly unlikely that this style is a public release.

The announcements are nothing special, they are just multiple announcements the same way you would do so if you were creating them on your own phpBB.

The style however is another matter, it may take you some considerable time to style your own forum along the same basis as this example. Duplicating another style that is not under public release is copyright infringement on the style author. I suggest you use their set up as an example to produce something of your own, the rewards and benefits will also be greater.

Kail has gave you a great link to creating your own style here >>

There is no fast solution to this im afraid, you can always ask here for further help and support. Good luck!

Editing key tpl files will allow you to modfiy the layout of your phpBB, they are all mainly in HTML so if you are familiar with coding HTML then you should be able to make some decent changes. Anyone that is a Moderator of your forums can place "Announcements" just like you can as an Administrator. As for the changing of images on the front page by designated users, you will need some sort of MOD to do this. There may be something similar to what you are looking for over at the MODs forums.

i believe theres a mod for "active users list" and they'll have the option at the bottom when making a new topic or editing one

You need to learn some general HTML and make changes to the file called "index_body.tpl". If you open that file up and find this part of the code:

Code: Select all

<table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline">
  <tr>
	<th colspan="2" class="thCornerL" height="25" nowrap="nowrap">&nbsp;{L_FORUM}&nbsp;</th>
	<th width="50" class="thTop" nowrap="nowrap">&nbsp;{L_TOPICS}&nbsp;</th>
	<th width="50" class="thTop" nowrap="nowrap">&nbsp;{L_POSTS}&nbsp;</th>
	<th class="thCornerR" nowrap="nowrap">&nbsp;{L_LASTPOST}&nbsp;</th>
  </tr>
  <!-- BEGIN catrow -->
  <tr>
	<td class="catLeft" colspan="2" height="28"><span class="cattitle"><a href="{catrow.U_VIEWCAT}" class="cattitle">{catrow.CAT_DESC}</a></span></td>
	<td class="rowpic" colspan="3" align="right">&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>
  <!-- BEGIN forumrow -->
  <tr>
	<td class="row1" align="center" valign="middle" height="50"><img src="{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_FOLDER_IMG}" width="46" height="25" alt="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" title="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" /></td>
	<td class="row1" width="100%" height="50"><span class="forumlink"> <a href="{catrow.forumrow.U_VIEWFORUM}" class="forumlink">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_NAME}</a><br />
	  </span> <span class="genmed">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_DESC}<br />
	  </span><span class="gensmall">{catrow.forumrow.L_MODERATOR} {catrow.forumrow.MODERATORS}</span></td>
	<td class="row2" align="center" valign="middle" height="50"><span class="gensmall">{catrow.forumrow.TOPICS}</span></td>
	<td class="row2" align="center" valign="middle" height="50"><span class="gensmall">{catrow.forumrow.POSTS}</span></td>
	<td class="row2" align="center" valign="middle" height="50" nowrap="nowrap"> <span class="gensmall">{catrow.forumrow.LAST_POST}</span></td>
  </tr>
  <!-- END forumrow -->
  <!-- END catrow -->
</table>
Replace the above code with this code:

Code: Select all

<table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline">
 <!-- BEGIN catrow -->
  <tr>
	<td class="catLeft" colspan="20" height="28"><span class="cattitle"><a href="{catrow.U_VIEWCAT}" class="cattitle">{catrow.CAT_DESC}</a></span></td>
 </tr>
<!-- BEGIN forumrow -->
<td class="row1" align="middle" valign="middle" width="46" height="80"><img src="{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_FOLDER_IMG}" width="46" height="25" alt="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" title="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" /></td>
	<td class="row1" align="left" valign="top" width="150" height="80"><span class="forumlink"> <a href="{catrow.forumrow.U_VIEWFORUM}" class="forumlink">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_NAME}</a><br />
	  </span> <span class="genmed">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_DESC}<br />
</td>
<!-- END forumrow -->
<!-- END catrow -->
</table>
And that will get you started along the right lines.
