Access your datbase directly and change the board default To do this under your phpbb_config table look for an entry for 'default_style' and set this to "1"

This should tell your site to use subSilver instead of this style.

That will atleast get you back up and running so you can fix it.

hi wira, in the subBlack3dBlue theme, the link "HOME" links to a different page instead of the forum index. Where do i go to change that link of "HOME" ?

Hey Wira CG I know how you can cut the page size down 10,000 Bytes without changing image quality or anything. Post here if you want the suggestions.

At about line #39, edit this:

Code: Select all

<span class="mainmenu"><a href="../" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subBlack3dOrg/images/bt-home.gif" border="0"></a></span>

Another question for the designer of PHPBB's best style.

How can I change the text color for all text entry areas? I love the orange background and I think black will show up better than gray.

Thanks in advance.

And another question.

Any way to easily disable the Javascript pop-up that displays EVERY TIME a non-IE browswer pulls up any page of this theme?

Yes. Open overall_header.tpl from the style directory.

Toward the top you should see the script that does this.

Code: Select all

<SCRIPT>
 if (navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer");
 else
 alert("This Forums are optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4+ browsers.\n We suggest you to use the IE4+ browser in order to enjoy all the extra features and layout tricks.\n\nThanks!");
</SCRIPT>
Find the lines above and remove. No more popup on non IE browsers.

every so oftern with this template my members get "Invalid_Session" errors on everything they try and do - clearing cookies solves this problem but is there a more permanant fix? Also the new post notification icon has stoped displaying so even if there are new posts it still shows the no new posts icon, any ideas how to fix this?

Apart from those small things i love this style; it will stay on my board for a very long time

I am going to ask this question again in hopes that someone has made this change on his or her board already.

The orange background of text input boxes in subBlack3dOrg is absolutely wicked looking, but the grey text is not easy to read when typing on orange. Here is the example:

I would like to change the text color to #000000 when typing in text entry boxes. I have not yet figured out the correct element of the .css file to change. Maybe someone else has. If you have, please share. Thanks.
