I need help please!!!

Post by MADFAKA » Sat Feb 15, 2003 3:41 pm

Ok, i've successfully installed the vbulletin theme for my board.
The problem is that the buttons (reply, post, etc) are very ugly. (sorry Nick!)

I want to put some that i made with a program, but the fact is i dont know how to do it...

I have to put "my" buttons into the templates/phpvb2/images directory???
I have to create a new folder called lang_spanish with the images inside??

What do i have to do?

no, no...

There's still a problem...

Some of the buttons have changed, but some others....didnt change.

I dont understand, i've deleted all the images of the template, and then replaced them with those that i want, but the problem is still there...

Someone?

1. put a folder named avatars in the phpBB2/images/ directory.
2. put 2 folders inside the avatar folder |upload + gallery|

example:
phpBB2/images/avatars/upload
phpBB2/images/avatars/gallery

3. put a folder inside the gallery folder with a name for the group of avatars you'll be putting here for your users to look through to use

example:
phpBB2/images/avatars/gallery/sports

then you would upload all your avatars that would go in this category into this folder

and for every category of avatars you have, you can make another folder in the gallery directory for them

example:
phpBB2/images/avatars/gallery/sports
phpBB2/images/avatars/gallery/fantasy
phpBB2/images/avatars/gallery/toons
phpBB2/images/avatars/gallery/cars
etc. etc. etc.

this way when someone goes to the gallery to get an avatar, the avatars are organized by categories.

hope this helped.

EDIT - I forgot to tell you why you need the upload folder in there. it's for your users to upload their own avatars if you allow them to do this.
