Strange. This is reading a file. The write method should not make a difference and the move method should especially not make a difference b/c it has gotten to that step yet.
root path write :: failed

All directories and should be CHMOD'd 777 for it to install properly, and language/lang_english/lang_admin.php should be CHMOD'd to 666.
No. Assuming FTP would work then this wouldn't be necessary. But you are having some kind of problem so I understand why you did this. I would NEVER recommend this though. You could have instead use the exec script to complete the final step.

Critical Error: FTP ERROR: could not move file [/var/www/html../admin/admin_board.php]
Heh, this is just a problem with the error message ;) to do: fix err message in modio_move ftpa
[/var/www/html/../admin/admin_board.php] to [/home/virtual/site33/fst/var/www/html/admin/./mods/Custom_Title_Aexoden/backups/admin/admin_board.php.txt]
should be [/var/www/html/admin/./mods/Custom_Title_Aexoden/backups/admin/admin_board.php.txt]
if doing it via FTP (since FTP's root is /var/www/html)
Admittedly, paths are a bit screwy. However I see nothing wrong at all with these paths.
Aaayway, yeah, it seems to be OK up until it tries backing files up.
It seems others could be having the same problem. I'll keep this in mind.
Oh, and, using SERVER, TMP & FTP, COPY causes major problems. :) (fgets() to null file pointer, endless loop)
I saw this happen in some of my tests.... it aint pretty ;) Not sure why this would be happening though. You are the first to report such an error, but now I suspect one other was having the same problem (Josh Windu)
Here's an idea for a bandage (what? another? ;)): suexec to bypass these problems for people with the sufficient user rights.
Another option? Joooooy!

Thanks for the input I may have some specific questions for you later. I'll send you a PM if I do ;)

Bwahahahahaha. That wins the award for strangest error! As morph said, does lang_easymod.php appear in your EasyMOD folder?

Well, having 8 pages of replies doesn't mean it is working all that wonderfully  But not bad ;)

NOTE: I'm not taking on any more support issues at this time. I want to get an update coded up and released. Once I do this then I will resume support. Until then, hopefully you guys can try helping each other out.

Also: thank you to Kail for providing the Swedish translation of EM! :D :D :D
