AFAIK this is woefully inadequate. EM will take SQL from the MOD and then convert it into any of the supported databases as needed. This is not covered by the phpBB DBAL so I had to create a fair bit of code to handle this. What you are linking to does not even come close to doing this.

/me bows down and begs for forgiveness

didnt know that it goes that far! gotta look at em code a bit more in depth!

Guess what... once again it is an error with the MOD, not EM. The author has this

Code: Select all

copy errors_body.tpl to templates\subSilver\errors_body.tpl
...instead of...

Code: Select all

copy errors_body.tpl to templates/subSilver/errors_body.tpl
...and that makes a very big difference :P

But I'm glad you mentioned it because I'll let the MOD Validation Team know they need to be looking for this kind of thing ;)

Hi Nutzy
Your mod is working great, but I have often to change the mod txt to implement it in em, I try to make it EM Compliant.

But I work with phpbb only since 12hours, so I'm really bad.

Whats the command to execute a php file.
So i will implement it in the txt file and hope that after EM will do it alone.

as like this in the forum root

#
#-----[ PROCESS ]------------------------------------------

nivisec_install.php

At the present time, there is no command to run/process/execute a php file
We're waiting for one, perhaps later...

Hey Nuttzy,

I found I had the chmod set wrong on the easymod folder. Changed it and it worked great! Installed the 2.06 upgrade mod and my board is much faster now. Great work on this mod and I'll be using it forever. :D

Heh, that's a relief! I had no idea how that part of the code could be broken :P

Coooooooooooool!
Sweet! Getting Authors on board will be a huge step and your work here will certainly help. I'm sure many authors will want to become EMC once the stanards are published.

Thanks,
