EasyMod alpha2 0.0.7 released

Post by Nuttzy99 »

UPDATE: 5/24/03 - New version released! - See http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=104291 for details!

The next version of EM is well in development. This alpha release has been hugely successful in helping me track down and repair problems.

I'm sick of dealing with people that don't have write access. This is no longer and issue with the next version. So until the next version is released I'm no longer making the version 0.0.7 available.

It's not strange to me ;) I must have messed up the multi-lingual code. I'll take a look to see what I messed up. It worked for Spanish on my machines, but I did mess with that part of the code quite a bit before release

Well, it installed. But now every time I click process it asks me to login again. I think it may have something to do with me running it on my computer.

I had a similar problem, since I was accessing it as 'localhost', however on my local network, the two XP computers have actually agreed to my being my jason.mshome.net. That's the address the cookie stores as, so you need to access that way or else you'll have all kinds of login problems. Just check your cookie settings and check the domain. If you're not accessing it as localhost, then I have no other clue.

NM. I removed install.php and got rid of the cookie domain. Now it works.

Need to figure out how to install other mods now though.

Without_Boundaries you had me worried b/c I had no clue!! I run as 127.0.0.1 on my development machine.

Ok, I'm home work and I'll check into that multi-lingual issue. Anyone else have this problem?

Actually, I had apostrophes in my original MOD description, and that caused it to have an error when updating the easymod table.
