Just restore the files to before the installation. You did make a backup didn't you?

Re: [RC] Backup Scheduler

Just installed the mod and something must have gone wrong.

In the ACP - maintenance - back up scheduler I get this error:

Code: Select all

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'anthonis_kesten.BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE' doesn't exist [1146]

SQL

SELECT * FROM BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE ORDER BY LOWER(backup_name)

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/db/mysql.php
LINE: 158
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: includes/acp/acp_backup_scheduler.php
LINE: 334
CALL: dbal_mysql->sql_query()

FILE: includes/functions_module.php
LINE: 471
CALL: acp_backup_scheduler->main()

FILE: adm/index.php
LINE: 74
CALL: p_master->load_active()
When selecting back up scheduler from the board configuration list I get "no mode selected"

What did I do wrong?

You have not run the install_backup_scheduler.php file.

In that case then the installer did not create the table - did you copy the scheme folder to your root?

The other thing that looks strange is the table prefix "anthonis_kesten" - is that correct?

That's the name of my MySQL database.

I have the same SQL error.

Code: Select all

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Table 'mnbonne_PBC.BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE' doesn't exist [1146]

SQL

SELECT * FROM BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE ORDER BY LOWER(backup_name)

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/db/mysqli.php
LINE: 143
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: includes/acp/acp_backup_scheduler.php
LINE: 334
CALL: dbal_mysqli->sql_query()

FILE: includes/functions_module.php
LINE: 471
CALL: acp_backup_scheduler->main()

FILE: adm/index.php
LINE: 74
CALL: p_master->load_active()

I also have run the install file and had the schemas folder there. It looks like I need to get the below entries added to the SQL table (taken from the install_backup_scheduler.php). Does that sound right?

Code: Select all

set_config('backup_scheduler', '0', false);
set_config('backup_scheduler_next', time(), true);
set_config('backup_ftp', '0', false);
set_config('backup_ftp_host', '', false);
set_config('backup_ftp_user', '', false);
set_config('backup_ftp_pass', '', false);
set_config('backup_ftp_path', '', false);

OK, did some more digging.

One error I am getting is:

Code: Select all

Table 'mnbonne_PBC.BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE' doesn't exist [1146]
the tables created by the install were:

Code: Select all

CREATE TABLE phpbb_backup_scheduler (
	backup_id mediumint(8) UNSIGNED NOT NULL auto_increment,
	backup_active tinyint(1) DEFAULT '1' NOT NULL,
	backup_name varbinary(25) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
	backup_key varbinary(6) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
	backup_type varbinary(15) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
	backup_file_type varbinary(10) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
	backup_tables blob NOT NULL,
	backup_frequency mediumint(8) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
	backup_ftp tinyint(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
	backup_last int(11) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
	backup_next int(11) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
	backup_expire smallint(4) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
	PRIMARY KEY (backup_id)
);
What I am noticing is that the requested name ('mnbonne_PBC.BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE' ) is not similiar to the names of what was installed (phpbb_backup_scheduler). Is that the issue right there?

Figured it out... wow... what a silly mistake.

In edit:
Find
Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.

Code: Select All
// Additional tables
Add after
Tip: Add these lines on a new blank line after the preceding line(s) to find.

Code: Select All
// Backup scheduler mod
define('BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE', $table_prefix . 'backup_scheduler');
I had this:

Code: Select all

// Backup scheduler mod define('BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE',	$table_prefix . 'backup_scheduler');
Instead of this:

Code: Select all

// Backup scheduler mod
define('BACKUP_SCHEDULER_TABLE',	$table_prefix . 'backup_scheduler');
Note the only difference is that in the first one, the line ran straight thru to line 2, in the second, there is a hard return in it creating the second line. That was it.
