Ah, I think I know what you mean now ...

Is that what you were referring to? If so, then I am not using anything beyond what you used also.

Yes I do see that it works perfectly for you. I'm just curious why it doesn't for me.

How did you define the [hide] bbcode in the ACP? Like I did here? http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/4624 ... odeha2.jpg

Or should that not even matter?

Ah I figured it out ... in the ACP, I entered the hidden bbcode as "[hide]" rather than just "hide". That fixed it.

Thanks for taking the time to help me look into this, 4seven. Again, great mod.

Oh snap I just read that only three groups can be assigned to see the hidden content.

Can I use the other modules to assign additional groups to be able to view the same bbcode? So groups 2,5,7 for the [hide] bbcode and then groups 8,10,14 for the same [hide] bbcode?

check it out.

if not, make tricky grouping.

make a group > eg. hide and put all the other groups in. so it costs u only 1 group..

here and now the limit is: 3 + 1 groups (3 "normal" groups and the "4-admins-free-switch")

in the next release i will kick this limit, but it will takes a time...

i have installed the mod perfectly in my forum/acp ... but the only thing that it don't seem to work is the HIDE CONTENT !!
i have added in the bbcodes [hide]{TEXT}[/hide]
and when i post something with the hidden tags it doesn't work !!!

any chance helping me please?

a little fix for some people, for whom the ACP-Info-Module not appear (BBCode - Group-ID's).
some people means, it fix the prob, but having not enough feedback, if it fix it in all cases.

download bb_gr_menu.txt here, rename it to bb_gr_menu.php
and overwrite the file (save "old" file before) in forum-root.

clear all forum- and browser-caches.
