Hello,
Have you refreshed the templates and cleared the cache? Also please take note that there are two places in viewforum.html file where you need to make the same edits. Please see the first post. Let me know if you are still having problems after this.

I guess I should probably put this double instruction in the install file, But I just need to do it in such a way as to not cause confusion.

I did not realize this but prosilver is already preped for adding background colors to specific Topic types. All you have to do for prosilver is add the classes to the colours.css file. The only topic type that did not exist in the template file was Global annoucements. So I provided the edits to add this to the template.

Also revised the colors to a more soft pastel looking colors. A bit easier on the eyes but you can add your own colors very easily.

Updated to version 0.02

Hello Melvine,

Did you do the css code edits?

As for registering on my testboard, What are you having a problem with? I don't seem to have a problem registering a user.

Anyway in the first post of this topic there is a test account name and password so you don't have to register.

EDIT
Oh I see what you mean. yes, it appears that registration is broke. :oops: Please use the test account for now. It will have to wait to fix it after work.

Oh I'm sorry. I guess I was thinking of my other mods. They all have a test account and username in the 1st post. I didn't think I needed to provide it since this mod is just a visual. But anyway, your account doesn't need activation, but if your having problems logging in it is because of an issue that i need to resolve later after work. I'm sorry but I'm at work right now so I can't fix the issue. For now here is the test account info.

username = test
password = tester

If you say you have completed your edits and have refreshed your cache and the mod still doesn't work, then please zip up the files you edited and email them to me and I will have a look at them tonight. My email address is in the modx file.

All you need to do is view the test forum. All the special topics will be colored. There really isn't anything else to it. This mod works automatically. If you post a sticky topic, it will appear in it's assigned color and the same goes for announcements, global announcements and reported topics. I will give you special rights to post sticky's and announcements so you can give it the test.

BTW did you get it working? I never got an email from you.
