Yeah...I think I know why that happens. There was code to handle that but it was removed due to the memberlist issue I found...I'll try re-adding it and doing something else to fix the memberlist issue.

Hi

When the schedule is actived that usergroup will also need to be set and unset as the users default usergroup.
Saying that I still find having a user assigned to more than one usergroup at a time causes more trouble than its worth.

Setting a group as the default group does nothing more than assign the group color and rank to the user.

Yep. For instance if the group you designated as the default group for a user doesn't have access to a forum but another group the user is in does then that user will have access to that forum. The permissions backtrace and get the highest level available without regard of the default group. This is why there is a "Never" permission in which case users that are members of a group with a "Never" permission won't have it regardless of the setting in any other group they're in.

I have added start and end dates to the MOD. Only thing left with that is to add this data to the ACP and the memberlist. It's getting a bit cluttered though... :|

Will have it available soon (version 0.0.2) but will not be making an update plan for those that have gone and installed this already. Way too many changes for that :P

YaY! I have held off installing this yet and thats what I am after is the start and end date.

I would like where if someone donates (Using Highway of Lifes donation mod) they get added to the donaters usergroup then after a set number of months or a year or whatever, be moved back to a regular user. It now places you in the new usergroup automatically but doesn't remove you unless you do it manually.

I will hold out for the new version and give it a go. :)

What I was also thinking was allowing to set a default for groups when you create them. This way when users get added to a group (via the phpBB functions...not sure if HoL is using something else although he shouldn't be) they get the group's default settings when it comes to scheduling. I also need to add the ability to skip the time settings if you just need to use the dates. Argh!!!! More ideas!

I followed the MOD instructions, edited the files and uploaded the new ones. Performed the database change.

But after clearing the cache and refreshing the style, I still don't see the MOD.

Does it need to be enabled?

There's really not much to see. In memberlist you'll only see a schedule when you're viewing a particular group and only if a member of that group has a scheduled membership. The bulk of the MOD lies in admin and in auth anyways so you should already see the section in the Groups area of admin when managing a group.

Looks like the necessary files are there. You went to ACP -> Users and Groups -> Manage Groups -> Members (for any of your groups) and you don't see a "Schedule group membership" Yes/No radio button set at the bottom?
