Not quite sure I understand how this is a mod?? It looks to me.. as if it is simply a custom page?? there is no admin area or in fact any where to "add or edit products".. unless you do it manually through the code of the page.. which brings me back to this being a simple custom page. You might like to look through the phpbb tutorials for custom pages because making it visible to only registered members is pretty easy to achieve.

yes, it is a simple custom page/s. I made it to be a quick and easy page/s to add on to your forum, for small stock sellers. I could add the registered members access but this would add on to the HTML. I just want to keep it small and simple (for now ;) )

this could easily be adapted into ACP modules as well ;)
Where the page would show all the items etc that had been created in an ACP if you use a databse table to store infos.

Let me know if you need any help etc. I am new to this stuff as well but learning alot with my recent working on the bartender script

Exellent, i have hardly any idea on how to make this into a 'proper' mod (like adding the admin options). I would appreciate any help on the admin side. Like adding catergories through it and items with images and description. I have PM'd you.

Thanks

Update: Thundercrew is in the process of making the admin control panel side of the mod. So when this is done and released you will be able to add items with images and options through the ACP. Also you will be able to add categories through it. So you will be able to control it properly (instead of editing it in HTML :) ).

Thanks

You know what would make this into a massive MOD ?

Making it possible for users to put their own stuff up for sale and charging a small percentage or flat fee for each sale.

Thanks for sharing your work and idea's 8-)

lmao osunds like it be a mini ebay module
Then you would have to be semi responsible for making sure users make good on thier sales and shipments of products etc even with a disclaimer you would get a bad rep and alot of headaches if users were constantly not recieving goods bought from your site off of other users  but is a neat idea I would elave that up to the originol mod author as an idea he could work with.

I have started working on this ACP side module now hoepfuly I cna get it ready for initial test tonight .

This is true, with phpbb's inbuilt groups, ranks and moderator tools however I think it could be managed quite effectively if one has good and attentive staff. No need to go overcomplicated with it all, just use the core code as much as possible to avoid conflicts with future updates and you have one incredibly useful MOD for admin and user alike. It's virtually done as far as I can see, maybe a tweak here and there with the design, add the option of allowing users (of a certain group maybe) to put stuff up for sale and yer done! 8-)

Good luck with it, whichever way you decide to go :)
