I know it might still be too early, but when you buy and item from the shop - will you be able to send it directly to the user with a message and a PM?

or, do you have to buy it first to send it? cause i'd really like to send items directly like Vb's Vplaza .. preferably with the option to delete or make the item private, and also display the items given to the user in viewtopic and viewprofile.

When a user buys an item, it get's added to the users' inventory. When that happens, the user can either click "use item", "resell item", let it sit there, or the user can transfer it. The transfer will send a PM to the recipient, and an optional message can be added to the PM.

I might build in a "Send Gift" function which will just buy the item and send it directory to the user.
I was going to create a section on the viewprofile that allows you to see others' items, but I could toy with the privacy settings.

Did you check the example of vBPlaza I left you? Is it something similar to what you do? Will we be able to change nick of a particular user by paying a certain amount of money?

Yes, the "items" can carry functions, and these "functions" will be plugin based.

When you create an item, you can attach a function to it, these functions can be any of the following:
-change username
-custom rank (you set the rank they get)
-add to group
-Send another item

etc..

I am creating an plugin system so people can add their own.

This sounds great:]

Also, can you make the functions of the items, such as:

- Change Username Color
- Change Username Font Type

or anything else, like that? =D

It would even be fun for a user to buy another user temporarily banned.
And the points or money how do you get the user?

The only way to change a user's usercolor is via a group, so adding a user to a group would be how you would accomplish the first thing.
The second thing is not supported by phpBB by default anyways, so you would have to alter the MOD and phpBB itself in order to accomplish it (since it is not implemented in the core, I doubt Syntax will do anything for it)

Oh, there are many hacks to change those things. None part of a stable shop system (Adrian's shop mod has been long since abandoned.)

And, the thing is, I want these two options to be paid for with points, as a privilege. Such as the shop system. The add-on for VB is able to do this, I don't see why it's not possible for PHPbb.

It is. You'll just have to figure out how to do it yourself, as changing fonts isn't handled by any code in default phpBB except for the styles themselves. If there's nothing in default phpBB, then the MOD can't expect the code to be there to allow for such.
