Is there any way i can add multiple prefixes at the same topic???

eg: [a] title

when i select the prefix from the dropdown box not to be overwritten by the new one, just add it next to it!

How can i do this?

Some new plans, I will work on this weekend
- Add icon override
- Rebuilding the admin side
- In view forum add an option to display by prefix (I hope I can implement it)

autodate?

When a subject is submitted. the topic prefix will show the date of when it was submitted.

Mar 25 - topic title

The download link only contains umil files. I also get error messages from WinRAR when opening it.

Hope you fix the link soon.

Maybe new places to display?

Before posts title:

Code: Select all

OPEN:

styles/prosilver/template/viewtopic_body.html

FIND:

<a href="#p{postrow.POST_ID}">{postrow.POST_SUBJECT}</a>

IN-LINE FIND:

<a href="#p{postrow.POST_ID}">

IN-LINE BEFORE ADD:

<!-- IF PREFIX --><!-- IF PREFIX_COLOUR --><span style="color: #{PREFIX_COLOUR}">{PREFIX} <!-- ELSE -->{PREFIX} <!-- ENDIF --><!-- ENDIF -->
Before search results:

Code: Select all

OPEN:

search.php

FIND:

		else
		{
			$sql_from = TOPICS_TABLE . ' t
				LEFT JOIN ' . FORUMS_TABLE . ' f ON (f.forum_id = t.forum_id)

AFTER ADD:

				LEFT JOIN ' . TOPICS_PREFIX_TABLE . ' tx ON (tx.id = t.topic_prefix)

FIND:

				' . (($sort_key == 'a') ? ' LEFT JOIN ' . USERS_TABLE . ' u ON (u.user_id = t.topic_poster) ' : '');
			$sql_select = 't.*, f.forum_id, f.forum_name';

AFTER ADD:

			$sql_select .= ', tx.prefix, tx.prefix_colour';

FIND:

					'PAGINATION'		=> topic_generate_pagination($replies, $view_topic_url),
					'TOPIC_TYPE'		=> $topic_type,

AFTER ADD:

					'TOPIC_PREFIX'		=> $row['topic_prefix'] ? $row['prefix'] : '',
					'PREFIX_COLOUR'		=> $row['prefix_colour'] ? $row['prefix_colour'] : '',

OPEN:

styles/prosilver/template/search_results.html

FIND:

<a href="{searchresults.U_VIEW_TOPIC}" class="topictitle">

BEFORE ADD:

						<!-- IF searchresults.TOPIC_PREFIX --><span style="font-weight: bold<!-- IF searchresults.PREFIX_COLOUR -->; color: #{searchresults.PREFIX_COLOUR};<!-- ENDIF -->">{searchresults.TOPIC_PREFIX} </span><!-- ENDIF -->

BTW, if forum has a shadow topic there is a phpBB Debug Notice ("undefinied index prefix_colour") with this line:

Code: Select all

					'PREFIX_COLOUR'		=> $row['prefix_colour'] ? $row['prefix_colour'] : '',
This line solve the problem:

Code: Select all

					'PREFIX_COLOUR'		=> $row['topic_prefix'] ? $row['prefix_colour'] : '',

Please give more information. What program are you using? Have you tried to re-download the file? Are you getting any errors (If yes, please post them here!)?
Don't forget to smile today. :)

Thank you so much for working on this idiotnesia! Would be amazing if the mod had an option to use icons (small custom images) instead of text prefixes. That would be an icy on the cake!

Also a question, will mods and admins be able to add/change/remove prefixes?

Sorry the file is corrupted when I move to new server. I will rebuild this mod and hopefully the beta can be released soon. The admin side is finished now.

There are a lot of place in phpBB that display phpbb title. I cannot add it in everywhere.

Phpbb is already has topic icon, you can use it.

Yes admin or moderator who have the permission can easily change/remove the prefixes. This will be useful when you want mark topic as solved.

New idea to viewforum.php! :mrgreen:

Display only topics with selected prefix (selecting from jumpbox with prefix list).

Similiar as standard function "sort by author / topic time / repiles" etc. ;)
