You are right. Anyway i have some question about special permission items:
1. is it possible to make a item unlock the permission of modify his personal custom title?
2. is it possible to make a item allowing you to change your username?

READ THE FAQ FROM ACP. THERE YOU HAVE INFO ABOUT THAT.
There are specialitems already made for that.

I dont know where to find the faq, maybe cos i dont installed this mod cos i'm waiting for the subsilver version.
Last question:
- Is there an item allowing you to change your nickname colour? (without installing any other mods?, i do already know the way where you install the colored nick mod...)

I get this error when clicking on a shop that I created:

Code: Select all

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3 [1064]

SQL

SELECT * FROM phpbb_1shopitems WHERE shop = 'test' ORDER BY

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/db/mysqli.php
LINE: 163
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: shop_inventory.php
LINE: 85
CALL: dbal_mysqli->sql_query()
Any ideas?

HI there,

I have carefully installed this mod on my board - 3.0.5 with Simple points 0.5.1. I get to the DIY section of the instructions and the first thing it says is:

Go to ACP -> SYSTEM -> Module management -> Administration Control Panel -> .MODs, then add the shop module.

Now when I try to go to my site to login I get the following message:

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Unknown column 'user_font' in 'field list' [1054]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

I searched for this message in this thread and found that I need to add certain columns to my users table. Okay, makes sense. I decide to look in your shop_install.php file and there is the necessary additions to the table all ready to be executed. That brings me to my first point - You should probably switch the two instructions around so that the shop_install.php is done before the adding of the module in the ACP.

Now, I try to execute the shop_install.php file and am presented with a login screen. That's strange, but I try to log in anyway, I get a blank white screen with the following address in the address bar: http://www.myaddress.com/shoptest/ucp.p ... 632b45f7e6. So now I am at a loss. How is the shop_install.php process supposed to go?

Thanks for your help.

Adrian,

Who are you answering?
And I'm not sure what you are saying? I'm guessing you have made an sql command to fix something and you have already posted it so you are suggesting to search for it. Is that correct?

I looked through the whole thread for this ^ SQL error but I did not see it. Perhaps I missed it?
