Please keep giving any requests for this MOD. Ofcourse not all will be developed in an early release stage, but it will determine all the possible features for the final release.

@ IDLaunch I will set up a future features list for this MOD. The features mentoined there will be adopted in this MOD.

a nice little feature, only a feature will be a little screenshot of the page in the category list.

At the linkpage MOD overview page in your ACP you are able to see the link categories, their names and descriptions.
Today I've finished the url counter (total links). That means you are also able to see how may links a link category contains.

With this feature taken care off, I close the development of the ACP module for the first MOD release. From now on I will concentrate on developing the linkpage that is shown at your phpBB board to your users.

Today I've made really good progress on the linkpage MOD. Actually, everything seems to work fine what I had in mind for the first release package of this MOD. That means a first download will be available in a couple of days.

The first download includes the basic package of the MOD. That is:
- ACP-module for adding, editing and deleting categories and links
- template files based on prosilver and subsilver2
- language files which support english
- automatic database-installer

Using this package gives you the opportunity to create and administrate a linkpage like this one: Demo

The next couple of days I will use to create the database-installer, the subsilver2 template files and checking the files for security issues.

After this release I will concentrate on adding the extra features like:
- counter for how many times a link has been clicked
- adding linkcategory images

If you would like other features to be included, please let me know. A full overview of requests can be found here: Requests

The first release of this MOD is open for testing. A download link has been provided at the first post of this topic.

Please let me know if you encounter any bugs, problems or what so ever.

Requests for features are still welcome.

no i mean a promotion banner for the website.

thumbshots show the site, but a banner is someting different xD

The option for users to add links - or better to make a link request - is a good one.

That's a nice clean look. Totally different from the one I've made so far. That one is a quite basic prosilver or subsilver based style.

I will add a similar look in the next releases to fulfill your request.

I totally have changed the look and feel of the linkpage MOD. Personally, I like it very very much. Hope you all like it also

It is set - at this moment - to a link row of three categories, but that can obviously be changed. You see the link category name, a link category image, how many links a category contains and the category description.

How does it look like? Take a look at this screenshot or see it live (here)!
