Should the the first } in the FIND be deleted? Or is this a mistake?
Another idea on how to "remove" the subject line, too. Create another table column in Topics -- topic_shadow_title, lets say. Set the shadow_title equal to the topic_title. When you do your $subject checks, check it against shadow_title, not topic_title -- that way, when you change the subject line to "removed", shadow_title is unaffected and will prevent a re-post.FoulFoot wrote:It's not particularly clean -- you've still got a topic subject with something you don't want -- but I'm not sure how else to match it.
Intentional. My edit in the first part removed the opening curly brace.Holger wrote:Should the the first } in the FIND be deleted? Or is this a mistake?
I just checked and I missed it. I edited my earlier post to include it -- you do need to remove that opening brace.Holger wrote:Thank you! I searched but did not find the deleted opening brace!
Its the same author.Holger wrote:I am looking at this mod with interest because I am using a far simpler mod (LastRSS) with no possibilities in the ACP.
I got a coder looking at LastRSS and he made the mod compare and look for already posted topics. So it should be possible to solve this.
Another programmer did the edits. Maybe you would like to check them out.Smix wrote:@Holger : Hello, I believe those parts are the same in the lastRSS APBot mod as in SFNC ... Or do you have a different idea or did you make some edits in that?
