Hi all! i'm making the above mod for my forum, if there is any interest in this mod i am willing to share it by learning how to code it for the phpbb3mod database. My own board also has more of these kinds of features so i could expand the mod to a bigger package if there is lots of interest. (like it would be easy to add a simple clan system since the coding i already have done) Lemme know!

Expect the first Alpha release around 1 october 2010. It's taking some time to convert my code of my extreme modded board to regular BB3 accepted expressions. Sorry for the Delay! I will be adding a display board soon.

Well there is already a INTER-clan system here in development that is ok albeit buggy yet. What the phpbb3 world needs though is a INTRA-clan gaming ladder setup, which the above mentioned mod cannot handle very well without a lot of modifications.

The above mentioned clan system provides a product for multiple clans to have a gaming tournament, but does not allow for members of one clan to have their own internal tournament.

If you can provide a ladder system where members (specific usergroups) of a forum can enter themselves into a ladder system, you will have a very successful product. It would be nice to have the ability for members to form small teams to have not only 1 on 1 games but 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 or 2 vs 3, etc.

The system you mention "RIVALS"is no longer aiming at a phpBB mod but is a now a standalone version. I had all the latest versions of rivals btw but it is keeps being very buggy. The functions of the Rivals system are great though, but I'm not aiming this high for this mod. Its a simple MOD which when succesful wil be expanded to a more complicated version. If you are looking for a system like Rivals/clan, be sure to google VWAR which basicly is what rivals is aiming to be.

I like the idea of players being able to organise tournaments theirself. Since im running a tournament board, it is an interesting option. Currently my board is organised in groups devided by ranks. (so like group commanders, colonels etc) Captains and higher ranks can control tournaments. (can reach the acp-tourney-control). However not create them. Im looking into how i could organise this for players to create also.

I have to reorganise a lot to have this mod added as an official mod so it will take some time. Anyone have some more requests? Or simular like above?
