It's not a bug, it's a feature.

I think it should be. These are the friends that you had previously. The mod needs now but the confirmation for the new friends approval system. I do not know if it's right. I am not the developer. ;)

Hi,

Excellent work...Thanks for the mod :D

I am new to using phpBB3 and your mod. I installed brand new install of phpBB3 with no mods accept for automod and then installed just the Social Network. I received no errors on anything but the Social Network format does not appear to be correct. Also the chat is on the top which will display the information that is typed but not correctly. Any advice for a non technical person like me who does an install and has issues? Image below. Thanks

Thanks Always,
Brian

ok, I got scared when 35 PMs came in a second :D so I stopped.

Now tried again, and after 4 or 5 seconds, another 40 messages came to my inbox hehe. No errors now.

Thanks silli and Kamahl19. Now the only problem is the "$.cookie is not a function".

Can't wait to see the whole mod working :P

This looks pretty cool.

Two questions:

1) I have the mChat installed, Will there be any issues with the chat on here?
2) will the (what looks like FB Homepage) overwrite my index.php?

Is there a working demo?

1) i havent tried it with mchat but i guess, you have to do only this change in mchat to have both MODs working. You have to fint jquery.js included by the mchat and delete it. there have to be only one jquery included (by SN)
2) no it wont :)
3) demo is http://phpbbsocialnetwork.com/

When you post a status or comment, you have to refresh the page to see it, is there a fix for this?

Do you guys have a solution to the constant IM Chat pop-up on IE & Chrome when any link is press (forum, topic, url, etc.). I know Culprit told me that he thought it was a cookie issue and you guys would take a look at it. :)

then you have problem with a jquery on your site. you have probably installed a MOD with jquery, so go to overall_header.html and find where is the jquery included. then delete jquery from previous MOD, there have to be only jquery from SN

I see a jquerry file in

Code: Select all

forums/sudoku/includes/jquery-1.3.2.js
. Do I need to delete that? and could I replace it with one of the social network jquerry?
