Further to my earlier post that get’s the friends request to work in supernova in the topic HERE

** ** ** **

I finally got a bit of time this evening to finish off getting the Style Changer to work for the Style Supernova. It worked on my first try which I’m very happy about, I’ve done a little testing and everything seems to be working as it should.

Edits for the Supernova Style Changer to work:

Open: root/styles/supernova/template/overall_header.html
Find:

Code: Select all

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
	$('#sn-not-logged-in').mouseenter(function() {
		$('#sn-not-logged-in-hover').fadeIn('medium');
	});
	$('#sn-not-logged-in-hover').mouseleave(function() {
		$('#sn-not-logged-in-hover').fadeOut('medium');
	});
});
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
	$("input:checkbox").each( function() {
		(this.checked) ? $("#fake"+this.id).addClass('fakechecked') : $("#fake"+this.id).removeClass('fakechecked');
	});
	$(".fakecheck").click(function(){
		($(this).hasClass('fakechecked')) ? $(this).removeClass('fakechecked') : $(this).addClass('fakechecked');
		$(this.hash).trigger("click");
		return false;
	});
});
</script>
<!-- IF $SN_TOOLTIP -->
<script type='text/javascript'>
	$(function() {
		$('div.colour-block').tipsy({fade: true, gravity: 's'});
	});
</script>
Replace with:

Code: Select all

<script type="text/javascript">
jQuery.noConflict();

(function($) {

	$(document).ready(function() {
		$(document).ready(function() {
			$('#sn-not-logged-in').mouseenter(function() {
				$('#sn-not-logged-in-hover').fadeIn('medium');
			});
			$('#sn-not-logged-in-hover').mouseleave(function() {
				$('#sn-not-logged-in-hover').fadeOut('medium');
			});
		});
	});

</script>
Find:

      if($.cookie("sn_board_style")) {
         $("link.colour-switcher").attr("href",$.cookie("sn_board_style"));
      }
   $(document).ready(function() {
      $("div.colour-block span a").click(function() {
         $("link.colour-switcher").attr("href",$(this).attr('rel'));
         $.cookie("sn_board_style",$(this).attr('rel'), {expires: 365, path: '/'});
         return false;
      });
   });
</script>
Replace with:

			 return false;
		  });
	   });
     });

})(jQuery);
</script>
Let me know how it goes for you,
;)

EDIT: Almost got it working, but i get this error on a subsilver2 based theme using the IM only..
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /socialnet/includes/functions.php on line 307: preg_replace_callback() [function.preg-replace-callback]: Unable to call custom replacement function

Another bug report (I assume the author wants these): If you leave the browser window open to the site, I often return to find the chat list popped open with everyone who's been online since I left it open in the list, even if they're long gone.

I don't think this is a bug. In addition, I like it as is :)
It's great but I think it affect the NV Who Was Here Mod name listing. Some names are not added to the list or updated because they are kept constantly online. The problem does not occur if use the Activity Stats mod instead. I had to uninstall NV Who Was Here and replaced it with Activity Stats Mod even though I prefer the 1st one. Thank goodness there were 2 mods that practically do the same thing. :) SN seems to interfere with the NV Who Was Here but not the Activity Stats Mod! :?:

Is it correct that when enabling the mod for the first time it sends a lot of pm's to users (with friend requests)?

Which versions of phpBB does this work with? my test forum is currently on 3.0.8 and works superbly but my live forum is currently still on 3.0.7 as i haven't had chance to do update.

What is the who's active/idle in the IM based on (the circle/crescent)? It doesn't seem to work, most users are active always despite being idle for hours, then sometimes they are marked as idle while I am chatting with them.

I recommend updating your Forum to 3.0.8.

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /socialnet/includes/functions.php on line 307: preg_replace_callback() [function.preg-replace-callback]: Unable to call custom replacement function
The error occurs when to a 2. member to login

However, on my server, I have a problem with open basedir restriction (safe mode). This change https://www.phpbb.de/community/viewtopi ... 6#p1209564 I have after installing phpbb made 3.0.8. Could this cause the error? And if yes, what could I do to eliminate the error? I no longer have an error in the AKP.

My Forum www.quad-atv-europa.eu

Thanks for Answer and Help

I've never had this problem when I enabled mine. :?: So for me it's not correct.

It is definitely correct :) If I have added other users as friends before SN was installed, then when you switch on Approve friends module, it will send requests to these users, if they accept me as a friend :)
