I installed the RC2 and it worked fine for reading. Though, when I try to use the Quick Reply it gives following error..

"template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/mobile/template/ucp_header.html does not exist or is empty"

Any ideas??
Dunno why you're getting that, I didn't know Quick Reply used the UCP. I'll fix it tonight :)

Hi Callum,

It somehow works now without the error. But it would be good to check. Something else I noticed...

It works fine on my Android phone but when I checked on iPhone and BlackBerry devices, till the login screen it works fine. But once you login, it brings up the complete site and not the mobile version. It should work for all the mobile devices, right?

Cheers

I have installed RC2 three times without any errors, cleared the caches and installed the mobile style, template and theme but still the viewforum pages don't show the proper style on the iphone. index and viewtopic are fine. Please help or fix.

I'm starting to suspect a bug in the cookies thing, I'll poke it for a bit to see what happens.

When I tried a "User Agent Switcher" extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... -switcher/) for Firefox, all the mobile versions worked like a charm.

Makes me think, it might be something to do with "User agent regex".

Anybody?????

I've noticed that it seems to be sending the cookie when it shouldn't be. Not sure why, though.

Hi Callum,

Strangely, removing permissions and re-applying them did the trick.

It works fine on the iDevices now.

Once again, great MOD Cal... I'm sure with lots of feedback from community it's gonna be even better...

Cheers

Ive made a fully functioning version of this mod + theme on my site badaforums.net/forums check it out on your mobiles and let me know what you guys think. Also have mchat running on the mobile theme as well once your logged in. Best viewed in dolphin browser since opera doesnt support some of the css styling.

Hi Daneh, I think the badaforums mod and theme is excellent, exactly what I am trying to achieve. I've installed the phpbb mobile mod, but I'm struggling with some of the themes. The register and login pages etc. Can you give me any advice / help?

John

Registration is meant to be disabled, I figured it's better that people register from their computers. The login page should work fine, could you post a screenshot?

Hi,

I've tried to install this mod, followed the instructions several times (copied files, modified common.php and session.php), and when I execute 'install_mobile.php' I just keep getting taken back to the login screen.

I've cleared the board's cache and cleared my local browser cache - same issue. I've logged in and selected 'stay logged in' but still the login screen. Multiple times I've reset my test environment and tried again - no luck.

I'm running 3.08.

Any ideas?

Cheers

That doesn't sound like an issue with the modification to me :/

Hi Callum, I think you're probably right. I'll keep looking into it. Thanks for responding anyway.
