I also did notice on the database error you posted that part of it was "Unable to open \'C:/wamp/www/phpbb3/buysell/images//thumb/neige 013_1323884964.jpg" There are two // between images and thumb...not sure where you are getting that from

dunno.....what I'd do is install a clean phpBB with this mod and make sure you can get it going first without any other mods. It would be a bit easier to figure it out if from there.

I installed a phpbb3 mod with the announcement and I do not have this error. It's weird ...
Otherwise, I'm pretty disappointed with this update.
Indeed, it is quite bare. Simpler but stripped. We would like the thumbnail preview is mandatory.
Finally, we can not please everybody: D It's already a good job

Hi,

I upgraded the MOD from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0 and seems to have problems with the image uploader.
Now in this MOD nothing happen when I choose image to upload.
I search in this topic and saw the "jquery" issue.
But I don't have in my overall_header any word match "jquery"
I also didn't install the mchat.
I also did chmod 777 to the image and thumb directories.
Can someone help? :?

@ emule: Go to your phpMyAdmin and change the value from the field thumb from varchar(255) to text. Then this shouldn't happens anymore.

@ kamahl19: From my personal view, you should use the internal attachment function.

Reason 1: This one simply works
Reason 2: You can have more than only one attachment. EDIT 1: Just realized, that you can upload more than one picture, but only one which can be set as thumbnail ;-) That's fine!

So the way you use it now, is surely nice, but as you can see it gives more errors and problems as it really helps. My personal view is to make it more easier and simply use the internal attachment functions. The display of an attachment can still be made using HighslideJS or whatever else nice displaying tools are around.

Especially as this function seems to be the only one, where most people are complaining about. All the rest works and looks fine from my personal view of this mod.

EDIT 2: Just for those people, who does have even locally problem. Please check your installation very carefully. I installed this mod on two different computers without any problems. On both local computers the upload image function works as expected.

EDIT 3: @ kamahl19: At home I installed the mod with Automod (which also works fine) and over here in work manually. You should rework the installation instructions and always search including the tabs, which are before the search string and also incl. the tabs, if the insert part should be tabbed too. So always from the beginning of a line ;-)

I will now install the whole thing online and check what's happening over there. I will extend this message with the results ;-)

EDIT 4: Ok. Unfortunately I have to agree with all the others. I do have the same problems and can't upload images online. So my suggestion as above already stated, is using the internal upload procedures.

And of course an upcoming Happy New Year to everybody!
Regards, femu

femo,
the upload doesn't work for me at all.
Nothing happen when I upload image.
This is the reason I can't move from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0
Can you explain what is the "internal upload procedures"?

The same you can use in the options below (when the admin enables them). Then you see an additional tab, where you can upload files. The admins over here disabled this tab, but normally you can see it.

femo:
I know what is the attachment option in the regular forum.
But how do you implement it in the classifieds MOD ?

jose29:
I tried the chmod to both directories and also tried to add the

with no help.
where exactly in the overall_header should I add it ?
Is there a demo board with version 1.1.0 that I can see ?

I do not implement anything. It's Kamals mod ;-) But I'm pretty sure he knows what I mean. So he needs to implement the attachment part from the posting.php and the posting_editor.html into his code.

And as I already stated, there are meanwhile a lot of people (including myself), which have problems with this part besides of the rest, which is working fine. And as this seems to be the only part, which is out of a good working mod, he surely will take an eye onto it :D

I mentioned this before he updated the image uploading part. If this part would improve this mod would be very professional.

Im not happy with the latest option so ive held off on updating.

I think I will stay with 1.0.0 version.
I just want to update it with the solution to a known bug that exist in 1.0.0 MOD:
when I see a user (PAZ1 for example) ad there is a bad link to "PAZ17'S OTHER ADS".
How do I fix this?
(I know this was fixed in 1.1.0)
