Unknown column 'last_post_text' in 'field list' [1054]

May be there is a sql statement missing?

Yes, i forget the statement in Install.

Go to MySQL or MySQLDumper and insert the following SQL-Statement:

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE phpbb_users ADD last_post_text mediumtext COLLATE utf8_bin NOT NULL;
Replace phpbb_ with your prefix..

package is updated

German translation for this preversion:

language/de/posting.php

Code: Select all

	//Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010
	'SHOW_SAVED_POST_TEXT' => 'Zeige letzten gespeicherten Beitragstext',
	'HIDE_SAVED_POST_TEXT' => 'Verbirg letzten gespeicherten Beitragstext',
	'COPY_SAVED_POST_TEXT' => 'Kopiere letzten gespeicherten Beitragstext in das Eingabefeld',
	//Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010

Doesnt work at all:

i´ve checked all files twice, all edits, too. It seams it doesnt do the refresh or call of the post_crash_protection.php. I´ve edit the path, too. Whats about if the board is in a subdirectory (eg. /newboard/) ?

Greetings

Uwe

EDIT: Got it.

Solution is simple:

If you have problems (doesn´t works) just try the following:
Put the FIRST PART of the javascript code in posting_layout.html on the top of it (before including the overall_header.html line).:

Code: Select all

<!-- Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010 -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function()
{
var refreshId = setInterval(function()
{
$('#post_save').load('post_crash_protection.php?text=' +encodeURIComponent(document.getElementsByName("message")[0].value));
}, 12000);
});
<!-- Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010 -->
</script>

(must be a failure in a other javascipt on a different template)

Hope it was helpful ;), just search the problem.

Greetings

Uwe

Okay, Folks -

here´s another workaround:

I´ve very much amount on scripts running, so its not simple to find the really problem with the interaction of a other script. I made it easier:

Just in

posting_layout.html

search:

Code: Select all

<h2><a href="{U_VIEW_FORUM}">{FORUM_NAME}</a></h2>
 <!-- ENDIF -->
add only

Code: Select all

<!-- Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010 -->
<div style="position:relative; left:2px"><div class="quotetitle"><input class="button2" type="button" value=" {L_SHOW_SAVED_POST_TEXT} " onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';      this.innerText = ''; this.value = ' {L_HIDE_SAVED_POST_TEXT} '; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = ' {L_SHOW_SAVED_POST_TEXT} '; }" /></div><div class="quotecontent"><div style="display: none; background-color: white;text-align:left;"><br /><hr /><strong>{L_COPY_SAVED_POST_TEXT}</strong><br /><br />{POST_SAVE}<br /><br /><hr /></div></div></div><br />
<!-- Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010 -->
In overall_header.html

seach for

Code: Select all

</head>
add before

Code: Select all

<!-- IF SCRIPT_NAME == "posting" -->
<!-- Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010 -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function()
{
var refreshId = setInterval(function()
{
$('#post_save').load('post_crash_protection.php?text=' +encodeURIComponent(document.getElementsByName("message")[0].value));
}, 12000);
});
</script>
<!-- Post Crash Protection / 4seven / 2010 -->
<!-- ENDIF -->
Marks: The switch <!-- IF SCRIPT_NAME == "posting" --> checks if the template is the posting.html and uses the javascript code only in this case. This will do the same as the original code, but it will be done before a other script on overall_header will start. If you have already problems, just try to take this part in front of the other scripts until it works.

I know that is a quick and dirty solution, but i think that this problem occurs on my heavy modded board only ;)

Must add: The crash protection doesnt works within Prime Quick Reply / Quick Reply Mod, i just add a hint above the qr postingbox (and add the corresponding line in languge/en/common.php).
