There is a slash missing, it should be ./styles/prosilver/overall_header.html - so check again for mistakes you might have done.

Me? I just copied the files and run the installer. :)
I haven't changed a thing. Do you know in what file I should look?

Sadly for me, videos from YouTube and Dailymotion have 150px height, Vimeo doesn't work at all and GoogleVideo works.

See the forum post on test site.

Vimeo works fine on your site, the video height you have might be your style, I got no problems with the height.

Viddler it's possible, but it isn't easy as simply copy and pasting the video url. Each video uses a specific hash which is found in the embed code. Might be better to have that as a seperate bbcode

still having my blank problem.

EDIT: my host just emailed me with the only possible solution they can think of. they tried the mod themselves and it didn't work for them either, and they said to ask if this is an apache module or a cgi module, cos their server is cgi.

EDIT: my host just verified this. this is definitely a cross-compatibility issue. when they tried this mod on a cgi server, they got the same result i was getting, blank. when they tried it on an apache server, it worked perfectly for them. the op needs to fix this. my host is the best i can find for what i want, but they cannot change their api to apache, so this mod needs to be fixed to work on cgi also.

That doesn't make any sense, are you running a windows server on that host. Either way they are avoiding correcting the problem, drop the host. If this host installed phpbb for you, then it's likely a problem with their installation. Nothing I can do to make it work with your host.

i'm not running any server that i know of, and i installed phpbb myself. but if you say it's the host then i guess i have to go with that. i don't know what criteria to look for though in another host now if we still don't know what's causing the problem.

What's the guide to installing this MOD? There is no explicit mention of it in the first message...

From the old topic, I found this guide
Copy root/video.php to your root forum dir (the one which contain viewtopic.php)

Go to the Administration Control Panel and navigate to the "Posting" tab, then
to the "BBCodes" section. Click the "Add a new BBCode" button. The following
page is where you are to enter the information for the new BBCode.

(1) In the "BBCode usage" area, enter the following:
[video]{URL}[/video]

(2) In the "HTML replacement" area, enter the following:
<script type="text/javascript" src="video.php?link={URL}"></script>

(3) In the "Help line" area, enter the following:
Note: [video]link[/video]

(4) In the "Settings" area, check the box for "Display on posting page" if
you want a "video" button placed alongside the other BBCode buttons.

When that's all filled out, click "Submit".
Does this still work?

Will it work with subsilver2 style?

You can install it with AutoMOD, or to do it manually open install_mod.xml in firefox or internet explorer.

I saw there is a "modx.prosilver.en.xsl" file in the archive. Will the auto install work with Subsilver2

Yes it works for all styles, this is a BBCode, so it's style independent. If you never installed a mod before, please read the phpbb documentation. it is best to download and install AutoMOD and use that to install mods for you.

@Tony, not sure why you can't access my site, probably my host went down (they are starting to piss me off) but it's working fine now.
