Yes.

I figured out the issue.
I needed to update my cookie info in the ACP. Once I did that, deleted board cookies and logged back in, it worked beautifully.

Thanks (JUST got finished installing it :) )

I added exposureroom but there is a catch, you need to remove the member name from the video.

I tried several ways to get it to work, but I can't seem to figure out how to skip over a part of the url without including it into the video id. I tried all sorts of regex's. I'm going to have to modify fraev's to hopefully make it easier.

Code: Select all

// exposureroom.com - http://exposureroom.com/members/whothehellareyou/2eff2f8cd7454382a962057230e7bc21/
// currently to get this to work, you need to remove the members name like so: http://exposureroom.com/members/2eff2f8cd7454382a962057230e7bc21/
	array('exposureroom.com', '/members/%/', '<object id="xrP2eff2f8cd7454382a962057230e7bc21" width="1280" height="720" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://exposureroom.com/flash/XRVideoPlayer2.swf?domain=exposureroom.com/&assetId={ID_VIDEO}&size=lr&titleColor=%23ffffff"><param name="movie" value="http://exposureroom.com/flash/XRVideoPlayer2.swf?domain=exposureroom.com/&assetId={ID_VIDEO}&size=lr&titleColor=%23ffffff" /><param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="True" /><param name="wmode" value="opaque" /></object>'),

Great, great mod! Everything working flawlessly. I can't thank you enough for the hard work you've put into this...

The hulu fix you've provided above is working as well.

Is there any way you could allow for ebaumsworld? Thanks!

Updated the download. I fixed the broken websites!

Added support for myspace videos, break.com, ebaumsworld, hulu, gamecreds and exposureroom.com
No need for a work around for hulu, the original video link will now work.
I also sorted the arrays in alphabetical order and removed the unneeded comments.

gamecreds and video.yahoo.com is acting weird, it works in the video.php script but the forum is not displaying it.

Code: Select all

http://sevenupdate.com/forum/video.php?link=http://www.gamecreds.com/video/starcraft-for-kinect-april-fool-k/jLfeA
works fine, but in a post nothing shows up. I am investigating but haven't found out why it would show fine but not display in the post.

exposureroom needs a workaround:

Code: Select all

http://exposureroom.com/members/DLynn_Coffey/fdafc486d51b45a58e0d328559f5be9a/
you need to remove the members name from the url, like so:

Code: Select all

http://exposureroom.com/members/fdafc486d51b45a58e0d328559f5be9a/
Currently there isn't a way to implement it without a work around

oops, forgot about updating the installer, should be fine now. You can also just replace video.php if your on 1.0.3, that is the only file that changed.

I recently had to redo my site. After reinstalling this mod the video button enters the wrong code. (shown below)

Image

Ive searched a few places and I cant find where this code would be. The only entry I have in the admin > Posting > BBCodes is the Video entry and it looks correct.

The three entries are:

-[video]{URL}[/video]
-<script type="text/javascript" src="video.php?link={URL}"></script>
-Video: [video]http://url[/video]

Anyone know where this might be controlled from in the code some place?

Thanks,

-Drew

I've added 2 more sites to my video.php:

vbox7.com
array('vbox7.com', 'play:%&%0', '<object width="450" height="403"><param name="movie" value="http://i47.vbox7.com/player/ext.swf?vid ... O}"><param name="quality" value="high"><embed src="http://i47.vbox7.com/player/ext.swf?vid={ID_VIDEO}" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="450" height="403"></embed></object>'),
and the newer youtu.be format:
array('youtu.be', 'youtu.be/%&%0', '<iframe class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="631" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/{ID_VIDEO}" frameborder="0"></iframe>'),

Any chance of having HD support from youtube.com & youtu.be ?

Not sure what you mean. You have to play the video and then it will give you the HD options if the video supports it. The only way you can default to HD is change the youtube array in the video.php to this:

Code: Select all

        array('youtube.com', 'v=%&%0', '<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="1280" height="750" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/{ID_VIDEO}?hd=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>'),
However, I don't recommend that. For example, the video and player will be cut off unless your forum style is a minimum width of 1300px.

The one thing youtube needs is the expand button for embedded videos, that's a problem only google can solve.

Thanks for the reply.

I currently use the older Video BBCode (abandoned mod)

This is the method I use in that one: It gives preference to the 720p version, rather than the biggest version.

Code: Select all

array('/youtube\.com.*v=([^&]*)/i', '<object width="720" height="576"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{ID_VIDEO}&hl=it_IT&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6&hd=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{ID_VIDEO}&hl=it_IT&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6&hd=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="720" height="576"></embed></object>'),
I am going to switch over to your system soon, I am just making sure it works like my current one before I do :)

That's the legacy youtube embed and they are phasing it out. The new code works great, except for some reason they didn't add the expand button like on the youtube website. Hopefully they will soon. My version supports HD videos just fine.

You can replace the new youtube embed code with the legacy:

Code: Select all

array('youtube.com', 'v=%&%0',<object width="1280" height="750"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{ID_VIDEO}?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{ID_VIDEO}?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="1280" height="750"></embed></object>'),

1280 is a little wide for my forums, if I replace those numbers with 720 & 576 like on my current script, that should work fine?

Hi guys - I run the old version of this mod, and I am trying to add the new youtube code. Guys on my forum who are adding the new code from youtube are getting the error message, site not recognised.

I need to know what array code (and anything else I need to do) - I need to put in the video.php file, but I need to still retain all the old codes of the hundreds of videos already on my forum - videos of which still work fine.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks
