Please try new universal phpBB [video] BBCode (without any code changes).

Thank you for this mod.

I realize that it is an old browser but is there an IE 8 fix for this mod? It seems it results in a redirect to the video source rather than properly showing the video embedded in the post.

Yes, I could say "update your browser" but would rather see if there can be a fix to accommodate IE 8.

Sorry, I don't have IE8, so I can't fix it if I wanted and to be honest I wouldn't. If it's getting redirected does it happen to every source or just some? Could be the video source doing the redirect.

This mod uses the site's native embed code, so I highly doubt it's a mod problem. Time to upgrade.

Thanks for the response, sevenalive.

I use an IE emulator that allows me to view webpages in older browsers and replicate problems reported by customers - yes, it happens all the time and is not an isolated incident.

Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of "just update your browser."

I tried searching this thread but only came across someone trying to uninstall with modx running into problems.

I'd like to uninstall this modification. What are the db changes it has made? Or more to the point, how do I undo ALL db changes this mod has made? Or is the umil strictly to populate the bbcode info in the ACP? (i.e., if I delete the video bbcode in the ACP under Posting, does that remove everything the umil did during installation?)

Thanks.

Yes, it only touches the bbcode. I uninstalled it now with no problems.
Just delete the bbcode and the 3 files and you're done.
