first things first: thank you iceman for such great work. this mod seems to be exactly what I need. For reasons quite other than efficiency, yest still
I msut start testing it soon
now, an important question:
in the requirements you write that it is recommended not to appoint moderators at all and if so, then not let them edit and delete posts
Is it because:
a) it simply makes no sense, becasue, for example one can edit a "on avareage) good rated post to make it sound bad and thus trick the users to giving it low score?
b) giving mods the delete priviliges messes up the karma calculation?
c) giving anyone the delete privilige messes up the automaticailly corrected mass moderator priviliges?
I have a case in which i'd like to use both karma and, in special circumstances, classic moderation.
lets's say that some content is not legally allowed in a country (like pornography in some)
in such a case i would not like to wait for users to rate offensive comment, but rather have mod's delete it promptly.
I am aware that having both mass moderation and classic moderation seems redundant, yet in the above described case waiting for the mass moderation and "wisdom of the crowd" to kick in might be too long. So what i am basicailly asking is:
if i leave classic moderators with delete priviliges and have mass moderation installed, will it - technically speaking - work?
