keitzy wrote:headpop. You will need to make template edits to that style. If your not an advanced user of phpbb please don't use this mod until I have finished dev testing the latest version. :)
i'm a advanced user of phpbb and i edited my style.

See my style file:

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" {FBXMLNS} dir="{S_CONTENT_DIRECTION}" lang="{S_USER_LANG}" xml:lang="{S_USER_LANG}">
<head>
{FBOGMETA}
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset={S_CONTENT_ENCODING}" />
and now my source code of google chrome:

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"  dir="ltr" lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb">
<head>

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
Weird. :ugeek:

is not missing edits. Did you install this mod using automod into your board? Seems like your functions.php in includes may be missing edits or may not have them.

EDIT: found the missing edits and asking about includes/functions.php

keitzy wrote:hotdog. Are you using the latest version of phpbb3 which is 3.0.10. You seem to have an internal error which may be a template variable or a server host php apache compile module missing or a default pphplib function disabled.
Can you give me any suggestions where to start looking anwser for this error? What php module could be missing or what pphplib functions should I check?

I just wanted to thank you for this great mod. I just installed in on 3.0.10 the first mod ive ever installed and have done it without a hitch.

There is only one small issue, and it is very small at that. The username setting when registering though this mod wont allow certain characters but this doesn't match the settings for registration in the ACP

Is that an issue the mod or with facebook?

If its with the mod, have i set something wrong or is there something i need to change coding wise to alter the permitted characters?

That's Facebook validation. The next version will fix that as I will use phpBB to register with retrieved info and not the Facebook register plugin.

I want to disable phpbb default register & Login and only use this MOD. Isn't I could do it by simply disable the registration in Admin Panel.

To avoid SPAM post, could I set all new registration (through facebook) should be first be approved by me?

It is possible to make a switch where you can disable the default registration.
I may look at this option in the future.

adds a facebook page wall to forum index
I presume the development for this feature hasn't begun (or isn't on the demo site) or am I missing something?

Thanks.
