Design and coding is done. http://www.damienkeitel.com to check out progress.
All but the facebook page wall feature..
hejowicz wrote: Does during connecting forum account and facebook account

Using facebook account on forum without registration.
The user has the option to either change their email or username but the registration form comes prefilled with only username and email fields.
If you drop by my forums and I can discuss an auto login/registration process.
hejowicz wrote:

goto http://ww.damienkeitel.com. Click the login with facebook button. Away you go. When done on the facebook page wall. I will migrate the mod to vanilla phpBB for testing and then I will let test users into the backend for beta testing.

Giving the user an option to like, send or comment on a post is great user interaction. However I may at the last minute add an option to use a checkbox post to user wall if ticked.

Yes. The option is there to use your facebook avatar.

It depends if the master is phpBB. I would say not though. Could be easy enough to make a plugin to integrate for WordPress. That's for another topic though.

I'm not linked yet to your test forum, coz i found error

there is a problem with non english characters
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_alphabet
(specials characters)

Instead of display proper characters during connecting, i get questions mark

Yes, yes it fails hardcore. I still haven't got it working. Lot's of tricks and work arounds and it still won't work. The worst thing is, no errors or anything to tell me what the problem is. SO frustrated with this horrible browser.

AJAX related, crossbrowser call to graph api on facebook. It will work if go into the IE setting and turn it off. I can't expect the user to do this.

To update Facebook For PhpBB.
Navigate to automod tab. Then uninstall facebook 2011 mod.
Then when asked due to error, force uninstall facebook 2011 mod.
Do not delete the mod only uninstall it
Grab the autoupdate package from here if you haven't all ready got it.

Then upload to you root directory for phpbb via your favourite ftp client.

Now navigate to your_board_url/install/index.php and install the update package.
Once done delete the install directory.
Navigate to automod tab in admin control panel and click on install for the Facebook 2011 mod.

If you have any problems please do not hesitate to contact me or leave a post in this forum or my support forum @ http://forums.damienkeitel.com.

Cheers :)
DJK (keitzy)
How would this improve anything? I still can't login via facebook, instead its redirect me back to my forum and wants to register me again, and this will cause an error "username or email already registered"

So how would this "update" make any difference to the phpbb core?
