The only way I could get anything to work was to remove all script calls to any jQuery but the one provided with Facebook For phpBB Light as it has the latest jQuery scripts for jQuery and jQuery UI.

The problem with phpbb is that it does not make jQuery standard so you have to provide it and if three to four mods are using it it conflicts.

Also, mootools conflicts as well hence why I use jQuery no conflict as the $ shortner will conflict and the different scripts will stop each other from working.

I think that mod devs you should put a switch to use jQuery no conflict as well as turning off the script links.

Let me know how you go with removing the jQuery script links and if it lets everything start working again please.

Find any bits of code in overall_header.html in styles/your_style/templates folder that look like this

Code: Select all

<script src="/js/jquery-1.7.2.min.js" type="text/javascript">

I have a fix to make Facebook For phpBB Light not use jquery.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/fb2011/ ... p/download

just upload the files.

This will stop facebook for phpbb light from using its own jquery/jquery-ui if it finds other scripts using jquery and jquery-ui
