The whole business of cancelling (and changing your mind again) as well as going back one stage is taking considerably longer to resolve than I thought. I've rewritten quite a chunk but still have work to do.
I'm no coder, but could a simple link be used here? "Return to" Or "Cancel and return to" something like that?
Edit: Ah, I think you are trying to literally go back a page during the membership form submitting? Maybe a 'Cancel and retrun to home page" or "Cancel and start again"

I'm simple like that
I love simplicity but it's complicated to get it at times  It's no so much the going back that's a problem but making sure the shopping basket is updated correctly. I was testing and found I was about to charge £430 for a 1 month membership  It's stuff like this that's taking time to resolve.

Doug

Hello,

I was just checking in to see if you thought the Membership Management MOD is ready for a production website?

Thanks.

Let me put it this way. I'm developing it and I'm not running it in a live environment yet! I'm determined that it is going to be finished and in a reasonable time scale.

Hang on a few more days and I'll be uploading a new version with all of the reported bugs fixed.

Regards
Doug

I am patiently waiting for this the pips. This can be a very good mod and imo needs to be done right.

Thanks so much for staying with it!

Hello,

I need to extend my member attributes to collect additional information for each of my phpBB members that doesn't come with the standard phpBB setup. Will this MOD allow me to extend the member attributes? or is there a recommendation to use another MOD, would that cause any compatibility issues the membership MOD?

Thanks.

Maybe do you can integrate this mod with Ultimate Points and some SMS service?

If it's just additional information wouldn't Custom Profile Fields do the job?
From what you're saying I think this mod is a bit over the top.

I don't know much about Ultimate Points but I will have a look. I've deliberately designed the payment module to accept plug-ins for other currencies which may come in useful.

It could be very straightforward to add SMS. I'll investigate it a bit further.

I made a lot of changes based on feedback and suggestions but completely and utterly bamboozled with the installer. For some reason after it was run you couldn't log into the database again! I started hacking out bits, installing and testing and got absolutely no where. So I've now started from scratch adding the elements back bit by bit. I don't know whether to be annoyed or relieved but with only 1 piece left to add in, it's all working!

If it does work I'll upload a new installation package. Because I've spent so much time on the installer I haven't had the time to check out the IPN side and it's unlikely I'll be able to over the next couple of weeks.

Doug

Hello,

I was wondering if the membership mod will allow searching/viewing/selecting a list of users and all of the custom profile fields?

Thanks.
