[ABD] Market Place (Auction MOD)

Modification Name: Market Place (Auction MOD)
Author: christhatsme

Modification Description: This MOD will add a market place to your forum, allowing users to buy and sell goods, using an auction or buy it now option (if specified). This would be great for real life trade and also perhaps for RPG Community websites.

Features:

Full Permissions System, including admin/mod of market place
Attach to topic (this will also be permission based)
Market place module - full listings, with categories option and full searchability
Each listing can have a reserve, starting price, description, pictures etc.
Admin ACP module, ability to set permissions for different groups, set available currency's etc.

Possible if it would be wanted:
Paypal integration
Commission charges

At the moment this is a private project I am doing for a friend, but if anyone would be interested let me know and I will make a public release. Also let me have any feedback on features that you would like to see.

As you may see I have written numerious MODs before, but not for a while! I am hoping to make a return to the community properly if I make a public release of this MOD.

Do you have any demo or image? Maybe then generate more interest.

I'm looking for a mod of this type.

You could add something related to trade. Also an rating for advertisers and sellers, that would be great.

Its still [DEV]. Only part of the backend has been written so far, so no demo available.

Yep could definitely included a trade rating system, thanks for the feedback! Keep the ideas coming..

Okay cool. Well I'm happy doing a public release even for this amount of people. Will keep you updated. Boomark the thread and hopefully I will have an alpha release in couple of weeks

I agree... Once a demo, screenshots, etc are posted then I believe there will be more interest.

yeah i think this is a great idea,

ie
fully paypal billing system for sellers on settable commission base
watching , so a member can watch the item
just have alook to see what you can do from a ebay type way and your mod will be a winner
