Wow Adrian1, this is one of my favorite mods! Thank you for taking it over. Idiotnesia (RIP) did a great job and I'm glad someone else can continue one of his mods :D

I'm running the 3.1 version so I'm happy you provided an update.

I have tested it with 3.0.9 but is should work and with 3.8 without any problems.

Screenshots of User Reputation Points. Look at the Mini Profile. I changed the Thumbs down image & Thumbs Up Images to my own made up image. This is exactly like vBulletin Reputation point.

Screenshot #1
If you really like a post, just press the Thumbs up button in the users mini profile next to the post. If you really hate a posts, you can press the Thumbs down and make a negative comment. The admin can disable negative comments and only have the positive showing in ACP.

Screenshot #2
When you click on the thumbs up or thumbs down image in the mini profile next to a post, you get this screen:

Screenshot #3
The messages are private. Only the person can see what users are saying about them. While the entire board can see your points, you are the only one that read the messages beside the admin. Depending on how many posts the user have that's making a comment is how much their opinion weigh. If a user have 5 posts and they give you a reputation it does not weigh as much as a user with 500 posts giving you a reputation. You get to set that in ACP (mine is set at 50 posts). You can read your comments by simply going to the user panel.

When I was using the version created by idiotnesia, I had two problems:
  • The field to enter the excluded forums IDs had limit and could not add all the IDs of the forums would like to delete. So I hope that the new version corrects this error. ;)
  • After a time, the mod has stopped working, only marked as neutral, never negative or positive, I do not know why this error happened, but I hope that is solved if found.

Use this image: Image

Some xhtml error fix:
Open: styles/prosilver/template/viewtopic_body.html find:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_REP_DISPLAY neq 'block' --><dd><strong>{L_RP_TOTAL_POINTS}:</strong> {postrow.REPUTATION_TEXT}<!-- ENDIF -->
Replace with:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_REP_DISPLAY neq 'block' --><dd><strong>{L_RP_TOTAL_POINTS}:</strong> {postrow.REPUTATION_TEXT}</dd><!-- ENDIF -->
Now this mode is xhtml valid

I will investigae this, it seams that another mod use the same config name. I will fix that for avoid any feture problems.

The fist one will be fixed in the next version, i will change the data type for it.
About the second one - try this one and see if this will fix the problem, if not i need more information to track this eventual bug.
