It's not as daunting as it may appear, there's 9 files to edit.

Image
Make a back up of those files first (Artodia Deluxe, not prosilver ;))
Then download and edit each one in turn with a proper text editor like notepad++, upload the edited files and refresh the templates, themes and imageset
A thread is pretty much a topic. Stop with the pedantics will ya.

Yes (I've done it several times this week, and I've had this issue for a while); browser I'm using is Chrome (I'll double check to see if the purging cache I just did worked; also, I'll check how it looks on Firefox....)

Hi,
I have a problem with Synchronise Reputation System. I have two users from the group of Registrated users with equal permissiong. After synchronisation the first one is OK (Reputation = Post vote + Profile vote) but second one is with reputation 0. In the second user profile in Reputation details there are correct votes from post and profile bul reputation is 0. In database in table phpbb_users the fields are: user_reputation = 0 and user_rep_new = 3 (and really there are 3 votes for 3 posts).
After test with 4 votes for posts for the second user, user_reputation = 4 and user_rep_new = 7. After sunc the fields for second user are user_reputation = 0 again but user_rep_new remain 7. In fact after each sync the reputation of second user is zero. With first user there are no problems.

PS "Second user" is no only one. There are many users with this problem. And many "first ones".

Thank's in advance

In addition correct reputatin have user with User_ID under 1000. All with User_ID > 1000 are with 0 reputation after sync. In Step 6 the query is

Code: Select all

SELECT SUM(point) AS total_points, rep_to FROM phpbb_reputations WHERE action != 5 AND rep_to >= 1 AND rep_to <= 1000 GROUP BY rep_to
Why rep_to <= 1000? The second user is with User_ID = 3407.

Sync posts and users reputation are in loops for 1000 items per loop. It's prevent server to overload especially while posts reputation is in progress.

I have tested sync on my board and localhost and it works ok.

EDIT:
Probably rep_id much lower than user_id and that is why some users weren't sync.

Thanks for the quick response! It works and all the users are synchronised. I install your MOD on live board on my risk after a lot of tests. My board is about 15 000 users with 670 000 posts. Until now board has 2,500 likes and only within 4 days :) The users like this MOD.

One problem during installation. I received Internal Server Error after 15 minutes of installation. I edited install_reputation.php because there were 3 queries that afected table phpbb_posts (I made a clear installation of last version no update). On this way the installation was completed in about 10 minutes.

And next small problem. I forbided registrated users to view reputation. In this way when registrated users vote (possitive or negative) the amount of likes do not update imediately but after refresh of page. Only color is changed.

For users that can view reputation the code is

Code: Select all

<li class="reputation zero"><div title="Гласували за мнението"><a href="#" onclick="jRS.postdetails('682763'); return false;">0</a></div></li>
Users with no right for viewing reputation are with this code

Code: Select all

<li class="reputation zero"><div title="Гласували за мнението">0</div></li>
In second code href tag is missing.

Thank you again! :D

I installed this reputation system according to instructions. But no reputations are being displayed in posts and topics.

What is the problem? :(
