That is the client side source code, not the server side.

Sure is!
But let's see what client side does:
It passes through requests from phpBB visitor tho the server side, and on the way back passes through data (content) from the server-side to the visitor like the content is generated by the phpBB installation.

It does not send any user data to the server side (except of the anonymous user#, witch it's not a secret anyway).

It does not execute any scripts of the server side on the client side - it's pure content. So it's no more harmful than, say, picture with the number of visitors, generated by some counter (tracker), or some script showing RSS ticker inside your page.
And it's good content by the way - it's not iframe, so even for search engine it looks like content, coming from your phpBB installation.

So, what's so risky about it ?

Not a big difference from the functionality point of view, but the installation is much more tolerant to various webserver configurations.

Install and try it ! =)

[Beta] GRA4 Social Network (friends,blogs,wall,pages,etc.)

The GRA4 0.0.0.3 for phpBB3 is released. The installation time is less than in the previous version and no DIY statement is required.

How long does it take it to review the mod? Last time it was like two days, now it's five already

When it happened in two days, I would say you was lucky. Sit back and relax my friend... It could be a while

In all seriousness, from my experience, it could be anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. It all depends a number of factors: other mods they might be reviewing/testing, other phpBB related stuff, and their personal life.

It can take up to a month (And in the holiday season a bit longer) untill a MOD is validated, we are all volunteers

However, I just looked up in our queue, and there is no MOD from you in their. Are you sure you did submit it? The last validation also took longer as two days, it was around 8 days, what is still much under our average.
