It's not an error - it's a message telling you that you already ran that file… if the table already exists, why are you trying to put it there again?

Handyman, what do you think of adding an "away" setting with away messages for the online list?

Hi,

what do I have to change to allow guests posting something in the shoutbox? I already deleted the "<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->[..]<!-- ENDIF -->" in the chat_body to make the inputfield visible to guests. I didn't found anything in this topic but it just can't be that much to change to allow guests posting.. I guess I'll only have to change a few lines - but unfortunately I didn't find them on my own :lol:

best regards & I'm looking forward to your answers

That question has been asked numerous times. No answer has been given at this time.

Handyman has informed me that he has no intention of providing support for guest posters on this MOD. Unless he changes his mind, your kinda SOL. I'd personally like to see guest posting myself.

IN chat.php just remove

Code: Select all

		if (!$user->data['is_registered'] || $user->data['user_type'] == USER_INACTIVE || $user->data['user_type'] == USER_IGNORE)
		{
			redirect(append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}ucp.$phpEx", 'mode=login'));
		}

Works for me, thanks a ton!! Guests are now able to post!!

Just wanted to add, if others want to do this, remember to also remove the

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->
& corresponding

Code: Select all

<!-- ENDIF -->
from chat_body.html

Has anyone found a solution for Handyman's chat not wrapping text in IE8? I've tried a couple of things, like meta tags to force IE8 to emulate IE7, but it doesnt seem to be working for my users.
