Im my case, i'll close de forum, so, if your mod, i'll have 2 options: referral and invitation, to me: invitation is the key, as i said, because i'll close forum, so referral will become useless, because someone will referral somebody, but this last person, need the code to enter in forum.

Is that right??? :?: :?:
Okay, you have to first understand that the referral invitation MOD works with both the referral features and the invitation features hand-in-hand. So technically, its not two options. If you close down the board to outside registration, then most of the referral-type features automatically turn off, because your board is now basically invitation only.

So you are correct.

The reason it is a “Referral Invitation” MOD is that it was meant to work with as many situations as possible, providing the most flexibility with features.

HOl,
another important question: in my case, as i said, i'll close the forum, so, when someone enter in my forum, what pages will show?
all index forum (or portal) or a box with a warning saying that the forum is closed, bla bla bla ???

The question, more appropriately, is what do you want to show?
Using phpBB3 built in features, a user not logged in would just see your board without any forums, or it would show your forums, but when they try to go there, it forced them to have to login.

If you don't like either of those options, and you want it to show a screen forcing them to login or enter an invitation code, then you should let me know, as I’m not currently planning for that.

hahahahahahaha
for sure it's what i want, don't you think is it a good idea???

If it is too complex to do, leave it for future...
Maybe i can do it by myself, just put the login code in a box, in a frontpage, edditing htacess...something like this, like an integration website, but just with a message and the register and enter button.
If it is easy like i said, just leave it like an "add on" in your mod release.

Thanks for your attention, HOL.
Was funny this last message. :D
bye

Small Update... I worked on it quite a bit today and am finished with the installation.
It’s taking a while to program in all of the features, so my initial release (Beta1) will be just the referral code, but will have the database changes and config values needed for the full referral invitation portion.

This should be enough, however, for those that just want the basic referral MOD part of the package, and that way it will be released sooner so you guys can start testing it. :P

waiting for invitation, but i'll test referral, that's ok.
I hope, when there is the full package, that is an update installation.

thanks HOL.
