Yes, template integration is optional.rabara wrote:is it possible to not make them inside each other? just link them thru accounts, profiles and more? i dont want phpbb3 to be inside wordpress or vice versa
Yes, this is planned for post-release. This will be much easier to implement than in phpBB2, so it should come fairly soon. I plan to give the user a choice which forum to post to, within restrictions laid down by the administrator (the new phpBB3 permissions system should be able to handle this, I hope). We also need the option to force cross-posting if desired. I'm still trying to think of a good way to conceptualise follow-up comments -- whether they should also be cross-posted (a big task) or left separate.Macrike wrote:I have another question.
Is it possible that when a new entry is posted in WordPress, a new topic is automaticly created in the forum, with an excerpt of the entry so users can use the forum for commenting, instead of the WordPress comments system?
You mean in a sidebar or something?-CoS- wrote:Will it be an easy way to take posts from wordpress and, for example, view in phpbb index the X last posts from users blogs?
I'd like to see more integration in that direction. Thanks for your work!!
