Very Nice work. I would like the portal to be the focal point of the site, and the forum an off-shoot of it. How can I get the portal to be in root, and the forum in /forum, so that when I go to my http://www.my-example-domain.com I am in the portal, and the forum rests at http://www.my-example-domain.com/forum. Right now, it does the opposite. I'm sure it's something simple, but it's 4am, so nothing is very simple right now...

I think your going to have problems having the forum and portal in different level directories.

What should happen is when you put in http://www.youdomain.com you get taken straigt to the portal and not the forum, thats how mine is working as installed. Think it's in the .httaccess file to direct to the portal for the index page.

Well, its not happening in mine. I still go straight to the forum. I noticed a few possible problems during edits though.

In the install text file it indicates one of the files to edit is: styles/prosilver/template/overall_footer.html, however, there are no instructions included for editing that file.

Additionally in the styles/prosilver/template/overall_header.html edit it says to look for:

and afterwards add:

However, that code doesn't exist in my overall_header file for Prosilver.

Using a fresh clean install of RC3 on a brand new site.

yo yo i've installed the mod with no errors no my board accept when you click on the portal link, all you get is this:-

template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/SimpleDarkBlue/template/bb3portal/block/announcments.html does not exist or is empty

Can some 1 help us out please? Oh yeah do you upload the CVS files because it doesnt say in instructions?

Also I don`t find some lines required to be changed in the install file...like:

Try to re upload the styles directory to your webhost.
Its sounds that the template files not correctly have being transform to your webhost.

And you have a working avatar on your board?
To have this as a index.php just upload the .httacces that you can find in this mod and upload it to your webhost.
