Blue Blood wrote:Force Garage on Registration!!

So I was thinking of making my forum so new members have to start a garage.
Or limit their access until they start a garage.

I need your thoughts!!
I'm not sure how the easiest way of doing this.
1) Added it to the registration.
2) Force garage setup on first log in.

Or if you have any other ideals....
Thanks!!
Hey I really like the idea "force garage setup on first login " that would be a great feature.

there is no phpbb_garage in mysql, but all the other garage tables are there from a previous install... but when i go to install it only gives me conversion option, and says The table prefix needs to be the one used by the software you are converting from.
» Specified table prefix was phpbb_.

and the table prefix is phpbb_

any help would be appreciated.

Because I'm still learning its easier for me to revers engineer. So I found a mod "Agree to privacy on first login".
It seem that I can use some code from this mod to make this work.

It's X-Mas So I have been very busy @ work & family.
I should have it working in the 2 next weeks or so.

Does nobody else have problems uploading pictures in the garage?
Only me? :oops:
Holger wrote:Hi there,

I installed this great mod (2.0.B4), but my users are not able to upload images:
Garage Error Occured
Not Authorized

You Have Attempted To Perform A 'UPLOAD' Action.

The Site Administrator Has Configured The Garage Such That Your Combination Of User Level & User Groups Are Not Allowed Perform This Action.
How can I solve this?
This did not help:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p3664315
as there already are $_FILES in use (but no $HTTP_POST_VARS and $_VARS at all).
In the quota setting I have
Vehicle quota: 30
Uploaded image quota: 100
Remote image quota: 5
And for three usergoups (Reg Members, Global Mods and Admins) I have the same settings.

AND

when clicking on Version check I get
{ VERSION_CHECK }
{ CURRENT_VERSION }
{ LATEST_VERSION }

OK here is a crappy version of Force Garage Setup @ First Login.

DOWNLOAD

This is not how I want this garage plug-in to work, but its working.. (users can bypass if they are smart)

I guess I should start a thread in the dev cat.

You should install phpbbgarage2.0.5-DEV
Less bugs
download

There are a lot of SQL errors that are fixed.
Also .css for prosilver is fixed.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think there are any SQL changes other then the version.
Would be easy to test...
install B4 on local and over write B5-DEV files
Change the SQL phpbbgarage_version under config to "2.0.B5"
