Brainy,

Any chance of a status report?

Though i am not a modder i am surprised that you don't have help with this one. I would think that a calendar would be important to the community as a whole.

Cheers

Alright, status is due :P

I have just finished my finals at school, so I can work on this more.

I have the weekly view set up for events, and I am doing some bug testing right now.

A calendar is the only thing holding me up from upgrading my live forums to v3 atm. Please let me know and I will be happy to test it out for you.

Quick Question

Are People Going to be able to Sign up for a Event Using this Mod. For Instance If I posted

Bobs going Away Party.

Could Forum Users Sign up so to Speak for the Event to show that they will be in Attendance?

Not with what I have planned right now. However, this mod should be extensible. If someone writes a new module that can certainly be added.

This is a pretty complex mod - with a ton of different requests... I understand you probably have a real life too ;) Is there anything I can do to help with this one - perhaps you can pawn off a few small tasks to help speed things up?

Let me know if you need me :)

Thanks!

While I'd love to say yes, I must tell everyone that this mod will not be released now and my work on it has stopped.

I was originally working on this for someone I was making a site for, and now they no longer need a calendar. This, in combination with some family issues I will not discuss here, has resulted in me having no time to work on this.

I am hoping to get back to it, but it will not be out in any sort of timely manner.

I have edited the first post and topic title to reflect this, and would like to request moderators to not lock this topic. I do plan to work on this, so it is not abandoned.

Unfortenately for us (in the waiting room) but IRL always should have the highest priority. Good luck!

I have a post into Ptirhiik asking him if he will consider porting his popular topic calendar to V3 and also asking him what I can do to help with the port.

I'm still learning the new semanitcs for V3 so it's could take a long time, but I feel we need a calendar solution in V3, and am willing to do what I can to help.

Ptirhiik's calendar mod for phpBB2 is an outstanding mod; I hope that he does port it to Olympus.
