cycholka wrote:Did some quick behavioral resarch. It seems that the mod fails only if the utf char is located in front of the tag. Chars inside the tag, or after it, don't seem to affect it. Out of following

Code: Select all

Przykład [dice]1d6[/dice]
won't execute but

Code: Select all

[dice=Przykład]1d6[/dice]
and

Code: Select all

[dice]1d6[/dice] Przykład
will, so whatever's wrong must be wrong here :

Code: Select all

while (preg_match('#<!--READY-->\[dice(?:=(.+))?\]#U', $message, $matches, PREG_OFFSET_CAPTURE))
coppro wrote:Actually, what's wrong is that the offsets calculated by the preg_match function to not take UTF8 into account. Thus, when I take the utf8_substr using the same offset, it gets calculated differently. Possible fixes include not using utf8-aware string functions (I don't think the mod would be affected) or counting the chars in UTF8 and using that offset instead. I've asked the MOD team about what they would prefer, but I haven't gotten a response yet.
cycholka wrote:You're right. It's enough to replace utf aware string functions from parse() in dice.php, everything works perfectly after that.

Anyone knows i've to replace?
Help me please ;O;

Hi people, i've been looking for a mod with this pourpose and i'm finally very glad to have found it.
First of all, sorry for my english, i'm from spain and i've got some language problems ^.^U

Well i've started to install this mod but there is a moment in includes/ucp/ucp_pm_viewmessage.php that sais
Find
Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.

Code: Select all

$bbcode = new bbcode(base64_encode($bbcode_bitfield));
Add after
Tip: Add these lines on a new blank line after the preceding line(s) to find.

Code: Select all

		if (!class_exists('dice'))
		{
			include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/dice.' . $phpEx);
		}
		$dice = new dice();
I've revised all the document and there's no this line... Am I blind or there's a problem in dice.xml document? If i'm blind where should it be in the document?

I'm using a PHPBB 3.0.5 forum maybe there's a problem with the version?

[edited]
I've ignore that fails and it works fine ^_^!!!

I only have a problem with the last posting buttons edition.
I have the buttons as bbcode mod and i don't really find the

Code: Select all

</select></span>
to add

Code: Select all

		<input type="button" class="btnbbcode" name="addbbcode22" value="Dice" onclick="bbstyle(22)" onmouseover="helpline('dice')" onmouseout="helpline('tip')" />
I tried to modify it and convert it into

Code: Select all

<img src="./images/posting/dice.gif" name="addbbcode22" value="dice" border="0" alt="align=left" onclick="bbstyle(22)" onmouseover="helpline('dice')" onmouseout="helpline('tip')" class="btnbbcode"/>
And now we can see the image but it doesn't rules...why? i'm forgoting something?

Is there any way to modify one roll with another, i.e. 1d10+4d6? I'm sure that I'm missing something obvious, but experimenting for an hour and searching this thread for keywords like 'sum' and 'add' hasn't brought me any success.

Either way, many thanks for this mod.

I have the same problem, I'm using phpBB 3.0.7-PL1. Where we shoul put this code? Should we ignore it?

Thx
